I started LUXEBELLE in 2007 - putting two of my favorite French words together - "luxe" for all things luxurious + "belle" which means beautiful! Luxury for me, is all about the simple pleasures in life...not purely limited to expensive designer goods, but rather something more meaningful - inspirations that make life more pleasurable!
My Profile
In mid 2011, I moved to London and started writing this blog as I settled into my new life. After living in several countries in Asia (Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, China) and travelling up to 80% for my Fashion industry job, I was ready to start putting into writing some things that I loved and inspired me. I wanted to share the joy I felt finding that beautiful shoe, or the pleasure of a fantastic meal, and the new places I discover in my travels. 
Growing up, I've always been surrounded by culture, cuisine and fashion. When I was younger I interned in local couture houses and eventually ended up in my last job where I was working for one of my favorite brands, Marc Jacobs. I was raised by a family of foodies, and continue to find wonderful wines and cuisines that excite & challenge my palette. I've tried some pretty amazing meals (Fat Duck, hands down) and some exotic dishes (live Octopus in South Korea)... and still curious to try more.
Travel is my best form of exercise - I am usually wandering around my new city or in a state of planning the next journey, and the one who's always got a bag packed for an impromptu trip. After years of travelling both for work and pleasure, I am still energized by it, but always prefer finding hidden gems in the cities I go to, as opposed to the usual touristy haunts.
