Another sparkly night out at the BFI London Film Festival Awards 2011 this week! Here's a shot of the stage right before the gala started.
I sat right behind Gillian Anderson (90s intellectual poster child Agent Scully from my old favourite The X Files), who was one of the jurors and presenters this year. No surprises in this year's winners - I really want to see We Need to Talk About Kevin (this year's Best Film winner). I got a big rave when I asked some BFI folks what the best movie was, and it was a unanimous answer!
Another highlight was seeing Liam Neeson present the Fellowship award to Ralph Fiennes... and sitting in the table next to the genius David Cronenberg - who also won the Fellowship.
